Note: EVPI is a 501(c)4 and DONATIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE

About Us

EVPI is a group of Eastport residents and veterans who banded together with a common purpose: renovate the Eastport Veterans Park, which has fallen into such disrepair it needs a complete overhaul.

We created a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization and incorporated with the State of Maryland to put the foundation in place for fundraising and rebuilding.

Originally established in 1951, the park is a testament to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans. It prompts us to remember those who defend our freedom and to consider where we would be without their contributions.

You may have walked past the park dozens of times, given its prominent location at the corner of Severn Avenue and 6th Street. We cannot overstate the importance of your donations to ensure that the park lives on as a tribute to our veterans.

Our Mission

Formed in 2022, the EVPI’s mission is to repair and modernize the Eastport Veterans Park so it endures as a symbol of honor and gratitude to those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces ... past, present, and future.

We seek to not only preserve history, but also inspire generations to come.
